In this bulletin some additional information is provided about various aspects of the TAUP2001 organization. A Registration Form, a Hotel Reservation Form and a Contributed Paper Form are linked to this bulletin.
All forms are expected to be returned by participants at their earliest convenience, but not later than June 27, 2001. Confirmation of the hotel reservations will be sent to participants as soon as available from the chosen hotel. Any other additional information and updating will be made available only through the TAUP2001 web site

TAUP2001 is scheduled to start on Saturday September 8, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. and to end on Wednesday September 12, 2001 at 1:00 p.m.
Visits to the Gran Sasso Laboratory will be organized during the Workshop.
For a limited number of people this visit could possibly be arranged for the afternoon of Wednesday September 12, at the end of the Workshop.
        
Participants to TAUP2001 are expected to arrive on Friday September 7, 2001.


1. Format of the Workshop Sessions.

Workshop Sessions will take place in the afternoons and will be devoted to subjects reviewed in the general sessions. The titles and the names of the conveners/discussion leaders are indicated in the Preliminary Program. These Workshop Sessions will consist of short invited papers and of brief presentation of contributed papers. Contributions by participants are encouraged. Those wishing to present a paper are required to send a short abstract to the Organizing Committee not later than June 27, 2001 together with the Contributed Paper Form. The abstract should not exceed half a page (plain text format). The deadline of June 27 has to be considered as a strict one.

The conveners will select the contributions to be orally presented and will also allot the time for each contribution. Programs and schedules of the Workshop Sessions will be available on the Conference
website towards the beginning of August.

Posters may also be presented, under refereeing by the conveners. Also for posters the Contributed Paper Form (with an abstract) has to be sent in.

Publications of contributed papers and posters in the Workshop Proceedings are subject to refereeing by the conveners. 


2. Proceedings.

The Proceedings of TAUP2001 will be published by Elsevier Science Publishers in the Proceedings Supplements section of the Journal Nuclear Physics B.

3. Accomodation.

Reservations for participants and accompanying persons can be made through the Hotel Reservation Form. Participants are kindly asked to fill out and return (better by fax) the linked form at their earliest
convenience, but not later than June 27, 2001 to the address given therein.

A booking deposit corresponding to the cost for one night will be charged on the Credit Card, directly by the Hotel.

Transportation between the hotels and the Conference site will be provided by the organization. We inform the participants that, due to the limited number of rooms in the hotels in L'Aquila, most participants will be accomodated in hotels located near the Gran Sasso Laboratory. However transportation, provided by the workshop organization, will allow interested people to spend evenings in L'Aquila and have dinner there.


4. Registration Fee.

The Workshop Fee is Lit. 550.000  (US$ 250). The payment will be made at the moment of the registration. Please take into account that only Italian liras or US dollars (cash) will be accepted.
 
The Fee will include lunches and coffee breaks, the conference dinner, social activities, local transportations from the hotels to the Gran Sasso Laboratory and viceversa, and a copy of the proceedings.


5. Transportation.

A public bus service operates regularly between L'Aquila and Rome (the end of line in Rome is at the Tiburtina railway station); the journey takes about 1:45 minutes. The Tiburtina railway station is connected by metro and by bus to the Termini railway station in Rome and by train to the
Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport.

In the afternoon of the arrival day (Friday, September 7) and in the afternoon of the departure day (Wednesday, September 12) some special bus service between the Gran Sasso Laboratory and Rome (Termini Station and Fiumicino Airport) will be provided to the interested participants by the Workshop organization at EXTRA cost. In order to optimize the timetable of this special bus service the participants are required to indicate the preferred option in Hotel Registration Form.
